Moving to a new version and backing up your data.

Automatic updates
The app checks for a new version at startup. When an update is available a notification appears in the top right.
- 1Click the notification and choose Download update.
- 2Once downloaded, the app closes itself and applies the update.
- 3Your settings and product matches are preserved.
For server installations
In multi-user setups, apply updates outside business hours while all sessions are closed.
Backups
The settings and matching database is backed up automatically every day.
Backup location: C:\ProgramData\EditexSoft\backup\- The last 30 days of backups are kept.
- You can take a manual backup from Settings > Backup.
- Copy the backup file to another device to restore it there.
